What the show is
BlackBear Podcast (This Amoiensis Life) launched in 2018, hosted by Tommy, biweekly. It doesn’t chase trends — it talks to the real people of Xiamen: founders, doctors, teachers, returnees. Eight years and 194 episodes later, it has become an oral archive of the city.
Content assets: a full transcript library
All 194 episodes have been transcribed with word-level timestamps through an automated pipeline. Every episode has its own page on the site with a readable, searchable transcript — eight years of conversations are no longer buried in audio, but usable text assets for search engines, AI and future projects.
