FairLoo
A civic mini-program where the public rates and ranks toilets — “Every stall deserves fairness.” Find one, review one, report a problem and see it fixed. Starting in Xiamen, pushing public restrooms toward compliance, fairness and inclusion.
Why this exists
Two overlooked problems: accessible “third restrooms” that stay locked and uncleaned, and a chronic shortage of women’s stalls — the national standard requires at least a 2:1 women-to-men ratio, rarely met. These “small things” affect the elderly, parents with kids, and every woman, every day. FairLoo turns public reviews into pressure for change.
